CLIENT TESTIMONIAL FOR CRUSH
“I’m completely blown away by how far I’ve come since we had our initial consultation. I couldn’t have imagined how far I could climb out of that hole and then beyond in these 10 weeks. I LOVED working in a group like that, seeing the thread that we were all working with at any given time. I feel like I’ve been able to get deep down into the roots of my codependent patterns and now have such a sharpened awareness of it as I move through life feeling so optimistic and healthy. I have never known this sort of secure feeling in myself before, not seeking it from outside of myself is so liberating. I have so much more energy and am so attuned to what I need on any given day! I’m really amazed and so proud of the work we did!! THANK YOU!! What a bloody RESULT! ” - B, UK
I CREATED THIS PROGRAMME SPECIFICALLY FOR MY BABES WHO…
💔 Are stuck in a draining, unfulfilling relationship that makes you feel unloved and undervalued, but you can’t seem to get yourself out of it.
💔 Never seem to get the love, care and attention you want back from any situation - you give and give and give and the effort isn’t reciprocated.
💔 Constantly overgive and feeling totally under appreciated or overlooked at work.
💔 Physically freeze at the thought of putting boundaries in place with your overbearing parents.
💔 Are reeling from a break up with a toxic, manipulative or abusive person. You know they were bad for you but you can’t stop obsessing about them.
💔 Have one - or many - draining friendships with emotionally immature people who you can’t rely on. With this friendship group, you feel less lonely alone.
Breaking free from codependency doesn’t have to take years and years of therapy
Q: "I’ve tried going to therapy and I've read the books and nothing has worked for me so far. Why would this be any different?"
With love - most work that my codependent babes do before getting to me is either too indirect, too generalised, or performative. Maybe you’ve sat in therapy sessions or read books, but you haven’t taken action, with expert guidance and accountability, to actually change your habits and behaviours and viscerally experience something different to your dysfunctional default.
If you had, you wouldn’t be here reading this, wondering if Crush Codependency is right for you.
So yes, you’ve tried other things, but you haven’t tried the thing that actually works - direct, actionable coaching and mentoring that is designed specifically to get tangible results for people living with codependency.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL FOR CRUSH
“I can say, without hesitation that it was one of the best decisions of my life. Working with Jo was like having a really good mate who has your back and who offers really sound no BS advice. Not only does Jo give great advice, perspective and support, she also gives tangible tools to put into action. It’s a life long process and I don’t always get it right, but my life has improved beyond measure as a direct result of working with Jo in this programme. If you’re on the fence about joining Crush, I would say that it’s a really worthy and valuable investment.” - M, London

HOW LIFE looks and feels when you crush codependent chaos and live in a state of solid self worth:
⚡ You feel excited and confident about dating - maybe for the first time - not nervous about the bad experiences that used to feel inevitable.
⚡ You’re doing way less at work, but still performing at the same level, you voice your opinions, you’re heard, respected and feel valued for your skills and experience - and you’re no longer totally burned out.
⚡ You’re finally out of that draining toxic relationship that’s been dragging you down for *years* - you feel relieved, full of energy and excited about all the possibilities life holds.
⚡ You can put effective, healthy boundaries and management strategies in place with your family - even if they don’t like it - so you’re no longer stuck in that dynamic where a visit home takes you straight back to being a powerless teenager… And you might even be able to have a somewhat enjoyable relationship with them!
⚡ You know you can trust yourself to make the next best decision in any area of your life - work, romance, life logistics. Even if it doesn’t work out, you’re resilient enough to bounce back and and confident enough to keep going.
⚡Life and relationships feel peaceful and easy. You have significantly less anxiety, better coping mechanisms, healthier relationships and sooo much more time and energy to do the things you really love.
⚡ You have a strong sense of identity, you know what your values are, and you live in integrity with what’s important to you. You’re no longer just people pleasing your way through life, collecting frustrations and resentments along the way. You like yourself a lot more and you become allergic to, rather than accepting of bad treatment.
STOP LETTING DYSFUNCTION BE YOUR DEFAULT
Hi, I’m Jo, your coach and mentor in codependent recovery 👋🏼 I’ve specialised in coaching codependent women and AFAB babes for the last 8 years, over which time I have developed tried and tested practical methods to help people get results in a faster and more sustainable way than just talk therapies, self led personal development work or volunteer run recovery programmes alone.
I’ve run this programme 6 times, since I first launched it in 2020, taking over 50 people through codependent recovery in a group setting. Since that very first round - originally called Lovingly Fierce - I have honed and enhanced this programme to become what it is today: The most comprehensive and effective system for codependent recovery I have ever delivered.
The best of what I have learned about getting people effective, impactful and lasting codependent recovery is included in Crush Codependency. I’m incredibly proud to offer this latest round, with more support than ever before, and super excited to see who I get to lead on this transformational journey.
As I know from my own journey of building my self worth and recovering from codependency: you will never look back.
Crush Codependency is DIFFERENT…
❌ Unlike therapy or counselling which can be slow, not specific enough and leave you with a feeling of “I understand WHY I’m doing what I’m doing but HOW do I actually change it?! Tell me what to DO!”
❌ Unlike reading books where you can learn some great information, but you don’t turn it into action and actually implement it. It just becomes more stuff you know but don’t apply. Crush Codependency is all about action and accountability.
❌ Unlike watching and saving all the TikToks and memes this programme is full of substance, depth, nuance and though it’s a group programme there is LOTS of individualised support for you and your exact situations.
❌ Unlike getting advice from your friends who are making the same mistakes as you, or passing on second hand information from their therapist or the latest podcast they’ve subscribed to, I am an expert in the field of codependent recovery and self worth building. It’s my passion and my speciality, and I will always tell you what you need to hear (with love), even if it’s not what you want to hear.
Self worth is not a secret or a mystery, it’s a learned skill - and I can teach you
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL FOR CRUSH
“Even if I didn’t have the group aspect, which I am so grateful for, the course alone is worth it. Jo writes so candidly and clearly about what codependents need to focus on. It is an essential tool kit, that you get to keep accessing whenever you need it. And I’ve continued to speak to my group. They have continued to be supportive and help me focus on recovery long after the program concluded. I highly recommend this approach. Especially if reading a self help book doesn’t feel like you are making progress.” - ES, USA
HOW EXACTLY DOES crush WORK? It’s built on action and accountability…
Let me take you for a whistle stop tour of the work we will do together in Crush Codependency:
COURSE MODULES
Instant Access Bonus Resources: I’m talking Spotify playlists, one for when you’re feeling powerful and fired up and one for when you just need to be in all those feelings, guided meditations, pep talks for different scenarios and with different vibes - you need straight talking tough love? I got you. You need softness and compassion in your pep talk? We have that too. No need to wait, as soon as you sign up you can start enjoying these resources and building them into your self worth building self care routine.
Weeks 1-4 - Take Radical Responsibility: In week 1 of the course we’re going to dive right in at the deep end and root cause your codependency. In weeks 2-4 we’ll dig into some of its deeper, darker, less recognised aspects - like manipulating with kindness, seeking safety through control and the superiority / inferiority complex. This initial stage of the process is tough, but vital. Your previously most mysterious patterns and habits will be revealed so you can start to heal. Codependency is not your fault, but it’s yours to recover from. That starts with radical responsibility. Give me a month and I’ll give you a whole new perspective.
Weeks 5-7 - Discover Your Unique Identity: People, society, meme advice pages: “Just be yourself!” Codependents: “Cool - who am I?” Lol, but seriously babe, the modules in this section of the course are so. Much. Fun. (Much needed light relief after Radical Responsibility!) By week 5 you will start exploring and discovering who you are, what you want from life and what your needs, desires and values are, perhaps for the first time. It’s so much easier to make clear decisions and live in integrity with who you really want to be when start to feel confident about who you are.
Weeks 8-9 - Establish Healthy Boundaries: I always say boundaries are a ninja level skill. Everyone wants to start with boundaries when it comes to codependent recovery, but we have to build up your self worth and communication skills first. By week 8 of Crush Codependency - just two months in - you’ll be ready to start initiating and actioning more healthy and effective boundaries.
Week 10 - Crush Codependency: 5 topic specific workshops to bring it all together and round out our time in Crush. By week 10 you will be ready to learn how to apply everything we’ve covered over the previous 9 weeks to specific areas of your life: Dating, Family, Work and Friendships and get a reminder of the hottest, need to remember tips, strategies and reframes in the final Crush Codependency workshop, so you’ll be ready to be set free, into the wild to have healthier, more fulfilling relationships, and live a more resilient, peaceful and confident existence, whatever comes your way
DAILY + WEEKLY COACHING
Weekly Group Coaching Intensives: Get direct coaching and mentoring on your bigger, more gnarly questions and situations in the weekly group coaching intensive. You know that feeling “I’m so glad she asked that questions because the answer really helped me too” - yeah there’s lots of that in the group intensives as well.
Co-Working Study Sessions: Crush Codependency is NOT another course or programme you’ll buy and then do nothing with. The time you need to complete the course, with accountability and support is built into the programme. Show up on a Sunday with me and the rest of the gang, do your work, ask your questions and tick, you’ve done your homework for the week.
WhatsApp Group Chat: With your permission, at the start of the core programme I will add you to a small group chat including me and your cohort (a maximum of 6-10 women and AFAB babes). This will be a place you can check in, get love and support from your group any time, and your questions answered, sense checks and pep talks from me, 6 days a week. No need to set your progress back unnecessarily by making a dodgy dysfunctional default decision - just text or voicenote the group!
WRAPAROUND SUPPORT
Instant access to a step by step course that will help you root cause and recover from your codependency. Weekly group coaching intensives. Weekly study sessions. A WhatsApp group chat - with me giving you replies 6 days a week! This programme is literally built on action and accountability. So much bang for your buck! The only way you won’t see results is if you don’t show up.

MORE CLIENT TESTIMONIALS…
“Crush Codependency is brilliant! I can't recommend this course enough. Jo is super supportive, totally empathetic whilst holding a mirror up to my codependency behaviours. The bonus was that she also did it with humour and it ended up being an enjoyable experience even though it's not usually a comfortable process when challenging ingrained thoughts.” - Lucy, Chester
“I got a lot more out of working with Jo than I expected as I could see how codependency was coming up in family life and at work as well as dating. So I learnt some good skills to reframe some of my ideas and habits. It was refreshing to have direct advice and coaching, compared with therapy. I just feel like I trust myself more which is wonderful and I would definitely recommend working with Jo in Crush Codependency” Amy, London
“I can't recommend the group coaching enough! I lived for the weekly Zoom call because I got to hear that other people are going through the same shit as me. It helped me feel I'm not alone and I can get through this. Everyone was at different stages and we've all created such a deep bond and continue to chat, help, and celebrate each other daily in our WhatsApp group aptly named "Codep Bad Bitches!"
It's one of the best things I've done for myself as an adult. Everyone will take something away from it and look at their life in a totally different way (in the best kind of way of course!). Thanks again for everything Jo!”
- Poppy, London
“At first I was a bit apprehensive about joining group coaching sessions, as I believed I would find it extremely hard to be open and honest about my experiences. I feared being judged. However, I was totally wrong ! It ended up being the only place I felt comfortable enough to express myself openly, as everyone could relate to a lot of things I shared. Jo was amazing during each coaching session, she validated my emotions and every week she would give us all really helpful tips on how to overcome specific things we were all going through.
Since completing the coaching course, I definitely believe I now have direction in my recovery journey. I have become more confident in communicating my feelings and needs to those close to me and in professional settings.
Overall, I feel more in control of my life and I couldn’t be more thankful to Jo, for helping me get this far in my recovery. I would highly recommend the group coaching sessions with Jo, because she is extremely knowledgable on the subject of codependency, so she is able to give honest and useful advice. I have also made new friends from the course, which is brilliant as we can support each other during our recovery journey.
This course has definitely been the best thing I could have done for myself.”
- Gigi, London
"Before working with Jo, I felt completely overwhelmed to the point that I was signed off work. I felt like my life was out of control, I was still enmeshed with my ex-husband 2.5 years after separating, I didn't know who I was anymore and I had no idea how to keep all the plates spinning.
The group coaching with Jo was simply the best thing I have done for myself in a long, long time. Jo provided a simple and effective framework to work through each week which kept me on track and the added dynamic of having several other fierce and fabulous women who understood me in ways I have struggled to be understood by others for most of my life was incredible. I now feel more in control of my life than I ever have, I am able to recognise my patterns of codependency and can put simple and effective boundaries in place to keep me centred. Plus, I have finally filed for divorce and revel in my own company!
I absolutely recommend the group coaching with Jo, she is funny, fierce, hits you with the truth bombs when you need to hear them and sets up the circle of trust in the group so well - I feel like I have also gained new friends for life."
- Sophie, Reading
Before working with Jo, I was in a massive pattern of codependent, emotionally abusive relationships. I realised that this is what I had experienced, but had no idea how to change it. I could see myself repeatedly putting up with unacceptable behaviour and becoming a ‘mum’ in my relationships. I was constantly exhausted and on the brink of a breakdown due to being codependent in all aspects of my life including work (i.e. constantly picking up overtime and overloading myself). I felt like I had completely lost myself and had no idea how to find who I really was. I also felt a bit hopeless, thinking that I would continue to follow these patterns forever.
I was hoping that from working with Jo I could find myself and learn to put myself first. I wanted to have the confidence and strength to be alone, and to stand up for myself when necessary instead of putting my feelings behind others. I wanted to learn to say ‘no’ more so that I could stop myself from burning out all the time.
I absolutely loved doing the group coaching. I feel like I have made friends for life, and found it so comforting to see that it wasn’t just me struggling with codependency traits. It made me feel a lot less crazy! Each week required me to have a hard look at myself and see how I am the only person who can change the way I live. It gave me hope that I could do it, and the group and Jo were so supportive. This group really gave me a safe space to be completely honest and open about what I was doing and how I was feeling, and here I had completely non-judgmental advice and kind words whenever I needed them. I am still close with the group of women and we frequently support each other with things that most of our friends don’t personally understand.
I feel a lot more independent and as if I have the tools I need to carry on my life as if it is my life and not my partners. I feel happier and calmer a lot of the time. Jo’s group work isn’t a ‘quick fix’, but it changes the way you think and behave so that we can continually improve our lives.
I would 100% recommend group coaching with Jo. It’s been so helpful, and surprisingly fun!
- Bronwyn, Aberyswyth
CRUSH CODEPENDENCY is right for you if…
❤️🩹 You’ve tried therapy, 12 step meetings, and / or just obsessively consuming all the books, podcasts and TikToks and nothing has really moved you forward effectively. You’ve paid money and spent time working on your anxiety, people pleasing and dysfunctional relationships but nothing has really changed.
❤️🩹 You’re sick of repeating the exhausting cycle of destructive behaviours like ignoring red flags, excusing bad behaviour, being the emotional shock absorber in your relationships and only communicating how you really feel with emotional outbursts, when you’re at breaking point.
❤️🩹 You don’t know how to identify your feelings and needs and struggle to communicate them clearly and directly. Boundaries feel too hard, too guilt inducing, too confusing and sometimes insurmountable to you.
❤️🩹 You already know or suspect you’re codependent, a chronic people pleaser or have an anxious attachment style. You have a pattern of over committing and overgiving to people and situations too easily and too soon, and staying involved and loyal in harmful relationships for way too long.
❤️🩹 You’re ready to take practical, actionable - and yes, uncomfortable - moves to transform your life into one built on a solid foundation of self, with healthy fulfilling relationships, great communication skills and lots more energy for the things and people you really love.

FAQ
If you’ve scrolled this far, you probably have some questions - and I have some answers for you…
I’m only just beginning my recovery work / I’ve only just figured out I’m codependent. Will the group be appropriate for me? Will other people be at different levels?
Yes, the group will definitely be appropriate for you! There will be people are different levels, but this is not a competition, a race or a shame game! If you feel called to join the group programme, then it’s likely that it’s going to be a good fit for where you’re at - same with everyone else in the group! And even people who might have been doing some recovery work for a bit longer than you - still need help with the foundational stuff… Otherwise they wouldn’t be opting to do this coaching and get this support.
Rest assured, the programme will not be too advanced for you, and you won’t be holding anyone back! The joy of a small group is that you get the benefit of community and learning from other people, whilst also getting the experience tailored to your needs, by me.
What’s the investment?
The full price of the programme is £1000. You can pay in full, or choose one of the following payment plans:
2 x monthly payments of £500
3 x monthly payments of £333.33
4 x monthly payments of £250
6 x monthly payments of £166.67
There is no penalty or preference for choosing any particular payment plan. Just pick the one that works best for you and your finances.
Instalments plans will be collected once per month, for either two, three, or four months, respectively, on the same date of the first payment. Ie. If you choose the four payment plan, and you make the first payment of £250 on 22 October, the second payment of £250 will automatically be taken on 22 November, and then again on 22 December and 22 January.
The investment feels like a lot. I’ve never spent that much on myself before!
I totally get it. If you’re not used to investing in yourself, financially and energetically, this might seem like it’s a lot of money and a big commitment. But here’s the thing - codependency also affects our relationship with money and financial decision making. It’s not uncommon for my codependent babes to have made some pretty wild monetary moves in the past - whether in a dysfunctional relationship, or making expensive, rash moves when on the rebound.
Thinking about whether to invest in Crush or therapy? Therapy can be great, it can also be expensive and a bit hit or miss - and then even more expensive because it can be hit or miss - depending on whether you find a therapist who you click with, and who really gets codependency. This is what I specialise in, so if you know you need help with this, and you feel like you connect with me from my work on social media and my podcast, I’m your gal, no bones about it!
Plus therapy sessions don’t usually come with a comprehensive online course to support you, extra study sessions to hold you accountable to doing the practical work, and cool helpful tools like guided meditations, recorded pep talks, and Spotify playlists AND a WhatsApp group chat where you can access your therapist (or in this case your coach and mentor - me!) and your group any time. Certainly not for the standard fee anyway!
I’m not in the business of taking money from people who don’t have it. So if it’s just not financially feasible for you right now, that’s ok too. I have other offers than might fit your financial situation better at this time, and lots of free offerings to support you in helping yourself.
But if it is feasible for you and you’re just freaking out over the potential of actually spending money on, and committing to yourself, I’d say slow down, breathe deeply and hold the stare with it. Your codependency is not against sabotaging your efforts to heal it. I’ll bet that if this was a holiday, or another rescue dog to add to your pack (yes that is a self-read), or an out of control DIY project (lol, been there too!) there’d be much less resistance to taking the financial plunge. Except for this investment, you get a significant, lifelong return (see the testimonials above!)
I’m busy! What’s the time commitment?
Babe - I know you are, you’re codependent 😅 I know my codependent babes love to over schedule and get overwhelmed! So here’s a break down of the realistic time commitment:
Programme length: 10 weeks of group sessions including a welcome call and a wrap up call, taking you from 4 November 2024 through to 15 January 2025, including a break for Christmas.
Coaching sessions: 60-90 minutes long, per week. (Depending on how many people are in your group and how much help you all need that week).
Study sessions: Optional extra weekly sessions to help you build in some focussed time to do the work of the course. I will be available in case you have any questions about the course work. These sessions are open for 90 minutes, for all groups to attend. Stay as long as you want or need, do the work in a virtual co-working environment or do it on your own time and come to the study sessions to ask questions and get clarity on the course work.
Course lessons take approximately 30-60 minutes to read, or listen to, digest and then take initial action on - at least getting started on the homework, or recommended action steps.
I ask that you make the commitment and plan to show up to every coaching call. And I know things don’t always work out, sometimes you get ill or life gets in the way. That’s fine, of course! But for you to get the most from the programme and to hold the space for the rest of your group, it’s important that you plan to show up every week, and try your best to show up to at least 80% of the coaching calls.
I also ask that you have read through and taken the time to make notes or start your homework for the corresponding course lesson before each coaching call, so everyone is working through the course at the same pace and has the same information at the same speed.
The actual recovery work is then integrated into your daily life. It’s not something you do on top of your existing commitments, it becomes part of the way your operate
I would also recommend building in a daily self worth routine as part of this process. It can be as short - 5 minutes of meditation and a quick bit of bullet journalling in the morning - or as long - an hour’s daily walk to clear your head and reconnect to your body - as you like. If you need help with it, we can work on what that might look like for you when we get started.
So realistically, you’re looking at around a 3-4 hour time commitment each week, to attend the coaching call and work through the corresponding course lesson, which can be completed during the allocated study session if you wish, plus your own daily routine which can and should be as flexible and sustainable as it needs to be, to be manageable for you.
That’s about 30-40 hours of your time, spread over 10 active weeks, with a break built in. I’m just gonna say it - it’s a lot of bang for your buck, financially, but also in terms of the tangible changes we can and will make together in a relatively short space of time.
What is the schedule like? What days and times are the calls?
The coaching calls will run on the following times and days:
Wednesday evenings, between 6-9pm - exact time TBC. The timing of the coaching calls will depend on the number of people who sign up, availability and time zones. I will work with members to make sure everyone is in a group timing that works for them.
Study sessions will be open to all groups and will happen 4-5.30pm UK time on Sundays.
Group calls begin with a Welcome Call on Monday 4 November, the first Group Coaching Session on Wednesday 6 November, and Study Sessions begin on Sunday 10 November.
When you sign up you will get a choice of which time suits you best, and you will be allocated a coaching group accordingly, depending on your preference and the numbers of people who have signed up.
Coaching groups will not be interchangeable. Once you are allocated your time and day, you will have to stick to it for the whole programme duration. This will give you an opportunity to get to know and connect with the people in your group over the course of the programme.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
There is a statutory 14 day cooling off period for this programme, which means that you have 14 days to request a refund, starting the day after you make your first payment and agree to my Terms of Service. Within 14 days, I can process a refund minus an administration fee of £50, to cover my time in setting you up in the programme and resources accessed in that time. After that period I will not be able to make refunds, [except in extenuating circumstances, at my discretion] and you will be liable for the full cost of the programme, whether you choose to attend the sessions and make use of the course, or not.
I must stress that it’s super important that you think through your commitment thoroughly before making it. I understand that circumstances can sometimes change unavoidably, but if you decide to take a space in this programme, then back out of it, you may be taking a space from someone else that really wanted it. After the coaching sessions begin, I will not allow anyone else into the groups so I cannot fill your space. This is to protect the energy, safety, trust and confidentiality of the group.
What I can guarantee is that I’m great at what I do, and I always deliver for my clients. So if you’re as committed as I am, even if you feel a bit nervous, together we can create an amazing and impactful transformation for you. All you have to do is show up!
If you are unsure and still have questions - please book a free consultation with me and I’ll answer all your questions honestly and help you decide if this is the right programme for you.
Does it work? Will it work for me?
I’m going to be totally honest, because I don’t operate any other way: I’m a coach and mentor, I’m not a psychic or a fortune teller, nor am I wellness grifter or snake oil salesman. I can’t guarantee that anything will work for anyone. But I do have a very strong body of evidence from having worked with hundreds of clients, doing thousands of hours of coaching over the last 8 years, that when people show up, commit to themselves and apply my tools and methods in their lives in a consistent enough way, they get results.
Their sense of self worth builds, they become more confident, they get clarity on what is and isn’t working for them, they get into happier relationships, they communicate more easily, they feel less anxious, they like themselves more, and they stop the self sabotaging destructive habits that have been holding them back all their lives.
If you really want to do this, and you’re willing to commit and show up for yourself for just 10 weeks, I feel confident that you will experience a positive and tangible change, and you will go forward with tools and strategies to help you maintain those changes after the programme ends.
I still have people messaging me now, 4 years on from when I first offered a version of this group programme, telling me how the work we did together continues to positively affect them today, and how it kickstarted a lifelong journey of growth and recovery for them.
Quite frankly if I didn’t believe in it, if it didn’t work, I wouldn’t still be delivering it. I am committed to helping people gain recovery from codependency, that’s the whole reason I do this work. So if you’re ready to show up for yourself and commit to your recovery, I feel confident that together we can create a massive tangible shift in your life and relationships, in the 10 weeks we have together.
